What is My Appeal Status? Module

The "What is My Appeal Status?" module explains where and how to find the status of your appeal. Palmetto GBA does not issue letters for favorable appeals. When a fully favorable decision is rendered, the claim is adjusted to allow for payment. When processing of the adjustment has been completed, it can be viewed on your remittance advice (RA). The Type of Bill on the RA will be XXI. When the decision is affirmed, an unfavorable decision, you will receive a letter explaining the reason and further appeal rights.
