Demand Letters are Available Through Palmetto GBA's eServices

Palmetto GBA is pleased to offer secure and fast delivery of Railroad Medicare overpayment demand letters through our eServices self-service Internet portal. eServices registrants may elect to receive these letters electronically instead of waiting for U.S. Postal Service delivery.

Once you sign up to receive GreenMail demand letters, Railroad Medicare demand letters will not be mailed to you.

To register for 'GreenMail,' log on to eServices select the 'Admin' tab, and then the eDelivery Preferences sub tab. A list of eDelivery options will be available to you. This page lets you select electronic demand letters, as well as other correspondence available through eServices. From there, pick 'eDelivery' instead of 'US Mail.'

Once a demand letter is posted, you will see a message that states: 'You have (a number will be shown here) unread message(s) and (a number) of alerts' near the top of the screen. Select the number shown, and a list of all unread messages or alerts will appear. Railroad Medicare demand letters will be identified as 'Overpayment Demand, RRM,' and the subject will be 'Overpayment Demand, RRM eLetter.' For additional instructions, please see the eServices User Guide.

If you are not registered for eServices, but would like to receive letters electronically, you can sign up at www.PalmettoGBA.com/eServices. eServices offers a number of other features, such as the ability to submit payments electronically, view and print remittances, check the status of a claim, access beneficiary eligibility information, file Appeals, Reopenings or General Inquiry requests, and receive and respond to Medical Review Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs).

If you have questions about registering for eServices, please call our Provider Contact Center at 888-355-9165 and select Option 5. Customer Service Advocates are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for all time zones, with the exception of PT, which receives service from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
